I love startups, travel, & technology
I live by the saying: "Learn something new every day".
I thrive at using my curiosity to identify problems, ask questions, and find solutions. I'm a lifelong learner, gaining knowledge through work experience, formal education, independently, and by traveling. I enjoy project management, and I'm extremely detail-oriented.
I work in operations at a technology startup where I manage company projects, align strategies, run sales operations, and lead vendor management.
I do this, plus wear several other hats as they say, for Shep Travel, a business travel technology startup. Prior to this, I was a Campaign Operations Manager at Goodway Group where I managed digital ad campaigns

My favorite projects
At Shep, I work with company leaders to develop high-level strategies and goals. This requires reviewing current status and progress, identifying gaps, creating roadmaps and implementation plans, tracking, organizing, and updating tasks and project management tools, and leading the team on bi weekly calls.
I enjoy creating implementation and onboarding assets for new SaaS clients. I've assisted with writing proposals and statements of work, setting up project trackers, updating the client and the team with action items, and tracking task and overall project progress. Additionally, when we identify onboarding assets that are needed, I've helped develop: slide decks, one pagers, websites, landing pages, emails, documents, surveys, and case studies.
As the sales operations director at Shep, I work on developing and refining our sales processes. I maintain and update our CRM and marketing tool, Hubspot. I work with our CEO on prospecting campaigns and outreach. I analyze performance of sales sequences and templates, and keep our internal systems updated. Additionally, I conduct sales activities by reaching out to prospects, answering questions, and setting up additional demos or calls.
About me
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling (6 countries so far in 2019), camping, backpacking, and spending time with my dog, Sandy. I live on my family's farm in Texas and travel frequently to Austin for meetings and to get my city kicks in. I've worked remotely for several years and enjoy the flexibility and work/life balance that working from home brings, along with the ability to take my work (and dog) with me as I travel.
